The Downtown Milford Business Association (DMBA) is a Connecticut-based economic development network rooted in Downtown Milford, designed to expand brand awareness for member businesses and attract tourism from across Connecticut and surrounding regional markets, including New York, Massachusetts, and Long Island, where visitors travel to shop, dine, attend events, and engage with member businesses.
Beyond its Milford hub, where many of our members are based, DMBA also brings together member businesses that come from New Haven, Ansonia, Westport, Fairfield, and Hartford, forming a broader Connecticut statewide network.
Membership connects businesses to annual events in Milford that draw thousands of attendees, which are promoted through coordinated marketing across print, press, TV, digital platforms, and social media channels reaching over 15,000 followers and more than 650,000 annual views, along with monthly marketing campaigns curated specifically to support member businesses. Together, these channels generate consistent exposure to families and public audiences.
Being an active DMBA member strengthens recognition and trust through ongoing participation in these initiatives, keeping businesses top-of-mind when residents and visitors make future purchasing decisions.

Marketing Meeting
Held on the Second Thursday of each month (except December) at 9:00am at the Parson's Complex, 70 W. River Street, Second Floor, Conference Room B. Additional meetings may be held prior to large events as needed.
