2026 Hall-O-Weekend Fall Festival

Looking for a not-so-scary Halloween event for free in the New Haven County?

Join us October 23–24th in Downtown Milford for the 17th Annual Hall-O-Weekend, presented by the Downtown Milford Business Association. Families, kids, and visitors can enjoy a not-so-scary Halloween celebration filled with trick-or-treating, costume parades, outdoor movie nights, hay mazes, and festive activities throughout downtown Milford.

Friday, October 23rd

• Time: 6:30 PM
• Location: Gazebo on the Milford Green, Downtown Milford, CT
• Movie: Hocus Pocus 2
• Screen Presented by Big Screens
• What to bring: Bring your chairs, blankets, and snacks. Enjoy a relaxed, festive, and Halloween experience in Milford, CT

Saturday, October 24th:

• Step Into Halloween: Downtown transforms into a Halloween playground full of costumes, spooky-but-not-scary adventures, parades, hay maze, music, crafts, and treats for all ages.
• Magic Around Every Corner: Streets and shops buzzing with laughter, decorations, interactive experiences, and opportunities to explore Downtown Milford Businesses.
• Make Memories: Kids, families, and neighbors experience traditions, photo-worthy moments, and Halloween excitement they’ll remember all season.

Important note: Pick up your Trick or Treat map on the Green at the Downtown Milford Business Association (DMBA) booth.

Saturday October 24th Highlights:

• 10am: Not-So-Scary Storytime at the Gazebo with Mermaid Books
• 11:30am: Spooky kids’ yoga with Just Be Yoga and Wellness at the Gazebo
• 12pm: Costume Parade led by Brian Smith (a.k.a Captain Kidd!)
• 10am – 3pm: Hay Maze, pumpkin patch, face-painting, arts & crafts, vendors and activities on the green
• 12am – 2pm: Trick-or-treat through participating downtown businesses, including:
• Downtown Milford Participating Storefronts
